Located close to the west coast of Turkey. The ruins at Ephesus date back over 2,000 years and are the best-preserved Roman ruins in the Mediterranean. You can easily to look at and walk through the sites at Ephesus. You will have some free time to explore on your own.
There is plenty of time to wander slowly through the main street, Odeon theatre, latrine, library, grand theatre and terrace houses with the guide explaining all the history, including religious and also Greek mythology. The area is very large and you can walk around without a guide or with an audio guide. But having a guide is more fun, easier, more informative and more interesting.
